Coordinated and complete drilling program

  • Pilot drilling / centering:
    For drilling depths up to 6 x d, centering is not necessary on straight surfaces. With its tip angle of 139° and its chisel “s” shape, the drill has good self-centering. However, we recommend pilot drilling or centering only on irregular, rough (with CrazyDrill Coolpilot Titanium ATC) or incline surfaces (with CrazyDrill Crosspilot) and if a high degree of position accuracy is required.
    For drilling depths over 6 x d, Mikron Tool recommends pilot drilling with CrazyDrill Coolpilot Titanium ATC or CrazyDrill Crosspilot on inclined surfaces.
